Bayern Munich Transfer News: Bayern Munich Edge Closer to EX Star Xabi Alonso Replacement With Potential €50million Deal for Lyon French Midfielder this Summer.
Bayern Munich Transfer News :Bayern could be set to replace the retiring Spain Legend Xabi Alonso with Lyon FC Corentin Tolisso, in a deal that would break the highest Bundesliga transfer fee paid for a French player.
Lyon Star Tolisso has been with the French side ever since his 14th birthday, but eight years later, it seems as though his career is set to take a turn after it was reported that Lyon have agreed a deal with the German champions that would see the 22-year-old move to Munich.
Bayern Munich Transfer News According to latest in Kicker (via Eurosport), the two teams have come to an agreement that Bayern Munich will pay €35m – a fee that could rise to €50m in bonuses for Lyon Tolisso.
Reports also state that England Chamipon Chelsea are also interested in the Frenchman, but the Bavarians is the more likely Final destination for the central midfielder.
Since his Record breakthrough season in the 2013/14 campaign, Tolisso has racked up 28 goals and 17 assists in 160 games really not bad- not bad for a player who is often required to fill in at a defensive midfield role in club.
He has some huge boots to fill if he is to move to Bayern Munich though. Xabi Alonso’s retirement leaves a gaping hole in the squad of Munich.
The Spanish & Ex Bavarians central midfielder could dictate the play like no other, playing at his own pace and holding the ability to spray at 40 yard pass whenever he fancied it.
However, Tolisso shows great potential and at only 22, he has plenty of time on his side to shine and make his own Legacy in football world to compete with superstars in Europe.
